What a year 2020 has been for all of us with Covid 19, drought, flooding, fires and everything in between. Thankfully looking after and rehabilitating our wildlife has been able to continue even if the way we communicate and travel restrictions have changed the way we have had to conduct our usual activities. I am grateful as a whole we have been able to adapt to the challenges we have faced and rehabilitate and release diverse wildlife into the environment. As a Veterinarian, I have been lucky to be able look after a range of species, and the funding provided by FNPW for temporary housing has been absolutely fantastic. Thank you very much for all involved in developing this grant program and enabling carers to cover some of the costs involved in the capture, rehabilitation and release of wildlife. I look forward to rehabilitating wildlife into the future!
