Darling little Gale has turned into a demanding juvenile delinquent ….

Gale was found buried in the ice on 2o January 2020 prematurely born weighing 61 grams in the middle of the worst hail storm in Canberra history.

There were many casualties on that day the entire colony was stripped bare with bat bodies strewn every where.

If there was a highlight of the day it was the survival of this little bat. She is now eating fruit and demanding attention , once she is weaned she will be going to the female bat creche at Kukundi in Lane Cove National Park to learn to fly and to learn some manners .
