First Wildlife Heroes Grant

06 Dec First Wildlife Heroes Grant

A big thanks to the Foundation for National Parks & Wildlife – Wildlife Heroes for our very first grant for Personal Protective Equipment to support our Volunteers. This grant allowed Warrumbungle Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation to purchase high visibility vests, shirts with reflective strips, protective shirts and pants, gloves and headlamps.

It is a very nice to have some support to give our animals that come into care the best chance possible. We see a lot of animals injured from vehicle strikes so the high visibility clothing helps out stand out when roadside.
